ORGANIC BARLEY FLOUR
Product of Canada
Organic Barley Flour is made by milling cleaned, hulled barley groats into a fine, untreated flour. Hulled barley is the whole grain with only the inedible outer spikelet removed, preserving the grain’s natural nutrition. It has a slightly sweet, mild flavour and is an excellent source of fiber and nutrients.
Organic Hulless Barley
Barley flour can be used to make cookies, cakes, muffins, pancakes, and breads, or as a thickener for soups, stews, and gravies. It adds a rich, nutty flavour and soft texture to baked goods. Substitute up to 25–30% of wheat flour with barley flour in most recipes.
