Organic Brown Rice Flour is finely milled from 100% certified organic brown rice kernels. It includes some rice bran, offering more nutrition and fibre than white rice flour. This gluten-free, non-GMO flour has a mild flavour and light texture ideal for a variety of baking and cooking uses.
Organic Brown Rice Flour
Long considered a primary ingredient of gluten-free baking, this light and bland flour has a grainy texture and must be combined with other flours and/or xanthan gum for rising baked goods.
It can also be used as a thickener, baking mix or as an alternative to wheat flour. To make baked goods less crumbly, it is recommended to combine rice flour with a starch (i.e. arrowroot, potato, or tapioca starch).
