Roasted Carob Powder is made from the cut, sifted, and cleaned pods (with seeds removed) of the Ceratonia siliqua tree. The pods are resifted, roasted, and ground into a very fine powder ranging in colour from light tan to dark brown. It has a naturally sweet taste and a pleasant carob–chocolate aroma, making it an excellent ingredient for both baking and beverages.
