Organic Blackeye Beans are small, cream-coloured legumes with a distinct black “eye” spot. They have a mild, sweet, earthy flavour and soft texture, making them a popular choice in Southern, African, and Indian cuisines.
Organic Blackeye Beans
To cook: Rinse 1 cup of beans and combine with 4 cups of water in a saucepan. Simmer over low heat for about 1 hour, or until tender. Soaking overnight is not required.
Excellent in soups, stews, curries, and rice dishes.
